INKINGA YOMHLABA is a genre fluid rapper/creative from the East Rand of Johannesburg. Ever since INKINGA officially started making music in 2019, he has been able to go his own direction creatively, reinventing his style and producing music with unique flavor within different genres. From a sonics stand point, he mostly incorporates his native mother tongue, Zulu and Zulu cultural references within his writing. INKINGA usually showcases his aesthetic through his visuals, which he directs as well.

On the 3rd of November he released a single titled, UYABONA LE, featuring Shev.
A cool, summer vibe of a tune, UYABONA LE is a blend of funk, tribal chants and midtempo house, topped with vernacular flare. INKINGA is in his element, literally flowing with confidence. INKINGA speaks on his hopes and his views on society. Despite his honest lyrics, you can't help but move to the beat and just take in its simplicity. There's no doubt that INKINGA YOMHLABA's sound is refreshing and proudly South African, almost reminiscent of veteran rapper OKMALUMKOOLKAT but in a super relaxed tone. We see great things coming his way, especially if this is what he has to offer.
